The visitors mirrored their 2-0 victory at the Amex on October 26 with this victory in Amsterdam thanks to goals from Ansu Fati and Simon Adingra.
Overall it was a superb performance from Brighton who were in desperate need of a win to boost morale as the side are without a victory in the Premier League since late September.
The Seagulls are currently top of their Europa League with seven points while Ajax, who have had a disappointing start to their league season winning just three from their first 10 games, remain bottom with two points.

2. James Milner: N/A
The adaptable veteran came off after six minutes with an injury

3. Jan Paul van Hecke: 9
The Dutchman looked comfortable on the ball, even when he was put in awkward situations. He showed glimpses of a superb player who could be vital in the near future.

4. Lewis Dunk: 7
The captain looked solid at the back but was unfortunately substituted at half-time after picking up what looked to be a groin injury.

5. Joel Veltman: 7
At times the former Ajax defender looked like a weak link at the back when the Brighton defence was passing it around, but overall he looked relatively solid.

6. Pascal Gross: 7
Was forced to drop back into the left back position to fill in for the injured Milner and did not look out of place for a second.

7. Mahmoud Dahoud: 7
The former Borussia Dortmund man played the occasional good ball and kept the game ticking in the heart of Brighton’s midfield.

8. Ansu Fati: 9
The Barcelona loanee broke the deadlock for the Seagulls with a calm finish while through on goal and assisted Simon Adingra for the second. He could have easily grabbed a third if it wasn’t for a fantastic tackle.

9. Simon Adingra: 9
Created the first goal with a simple pass through to Fati and grabbed Brighton’s second after the Spain international returned the favour with an assist.

10. Kaoru Mitoma: 7
Was outshone by Fati, Joao Pedro and Adingra up top and should have squared the ball to Evan Ferguson in the second half instead of taking a chance himself.

12. Billy Gilmour: 8
Came on early in the game for Milner and created the first goal by shutting down Silvano Vos who misplaced a pass.

13. Igor Julio: 8
The substitute read the game well and wasn’t afraid to drive up the pitch as he helped Brighton defend their lead.

14. Evan Ferguson: 6
Did nothing of note after coming on but could have been gifted an easy goal if Mitoma squared a pass instead of taking the shot on himself.

15. Pervis Estupinan: N/A
Was on for 12 minutes before coming off with an injury.

16. Carlos Baleba: N/A
Did nothing of note after coming on.
