The 23-year-old came off the bench late in the second half of Real Madrid’s home encounter on Sunday, his first appearance since January 2022.
Mason Greenwood was booed by Osasuna fans as he came off the bench late in the second half to make his Getafe debut on Sunday, his first game since leaving Manchester United.

The 23-year-old forward was suspended in January of last year after claims of sexual abuse against his girlfriend were dropped, but United confirmed this summer that he would be leaving the club following an internal inquiry and lengthy review process.
Greenwood then joined Getafe on loan on deadline day, although the transfer came too late for him to play against Real Madrid the following day at the Santiago Bernabeu in LaLiga.
Greenwood started on the bench for Getafe against Osasuna on Sunday, but he came on for the final 13 minutes of the encounter at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
Greenwood was introduced by Jose Bordalas with the score 2-2, and Getafe went on to win the match 3-2 thanks to a late winner by Nemanja Maksimovic after 86 minutes.
Osasuna fans could be heard yelling “Greenwood, die” to the Bradford-born attacker as he warmed up on the sidelines.
Greenwood, who has been with United since he was six years old, last played for the club in a 1-0 win over West Ham in January 2022.
Bordalas has defended his deal, claiming that the Madrid-based club will assist the 23-year-old in reestablishing his career and life in Spain.
Lazio were also interested in getting Greenwood on loan from Manchester United prior to his move to Getafe.
