Mykhaylo Mudryk has already set his sights on making his Arsenal debut against Manchester United on January 22, according to reports.
It is claimed that Mudryk is “desperate” to feature for the Gunners against the Red Devils – the only side that has beaten them this season.
“Teammates actually predicted during the World Cup he’d score an NLD winner with a hope back then the deal would already be done,” journalist Ben Jacobs wrote on Twitter.
“Many of Mudryk’s teammates and friends have spent the past few months joking he’s already an Arsenal player. But despite all the social media clues, Mudryk has actually been very respectful with Shakhtar and has been training as hard as ever.
“Unlike Mudryk’s teammates, there has always been a sense from those close to the deal that things would drag on to this point. That’s why Arsenal hasn’t lost optimism.”
The Gunners have submitted multiple to Shakhtar for Mudryk. However, a deal is yet to be struck between both sides.
