Steve Cooper was clearly angry with his Nottingham Forest players after they lost 3-2 to West Ham United at the London Stadium.
The Reds should have taken at least a point after scoring through Taiwo Awoniyi and Anthony Elanga, but they conceded goals from two second-half set pieces to lose, with Tomas Soucek heading in the winner after 88 minutes.
In his post-match press conference, Cooper was swift to point out that Forest should have left the London Stadium with a positive Premier League result, but they only had themselves to blame for failing to deal with James Ward-Prowse’s corners.

Nottingham Forest is sweating on the results of a scan on Murillo after the defender was forced off in the defeat to West Ham United.
The young Brazilian appeared to pick up the problem in the first half when sprinting back to stifle a Hammers counterattack. He was able to play on until the 75-minute mark before being replaced by Willy Boly in a 3-2 defeat at the London Stadium.
“He’s got a hamstring strain, so fingers crossed,” head coach Steve Cooper said. “He was the one that was defending the set plays really well. He was put in a pivotal role and was doing it really well before he went off. That was a blow because he’s become an important player the way he builds up.

Head coach David Moyes admits “world-class set-piece taker” James Ward-Prowse got West Ham out of trouble in their 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest.
Steve Cooper’s side were unable to claim back-to-back wins following their 2-0 win over Aston Villa last weekend. The Reds struggled to deal effectively with the Hammers’ set-pieces, as two of the three goals came from Ward-Prowse crosses.

Roberto De Zerbi hits out as Brighton dealt major blow ahead of Nottingham Forest
Brighton will be missing Mahmoud Dahoud when they face Nottingham Forest after the international break.
Dahoud was sent off after stamping on former Reds man Ben Osborn’s Achilles during Brighton’s 1-1 draw against Sheffield United in the Premier League on Sunday. He will now be suspended when the Seagulls face Forest at the City Ground on November 25.
Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi, who was also booked for his touchline antics, did not disagree with the red card shown by John Brooks but said: “I am honest and clear… I don’t like 80 per cent of English referees.”
Nottingham Forest’s Jonjo Shelvey matches David Beckham in sensational moment for loan club
Nottingham Forest’s Jonjo Shelvey scored an incredible halfway-line goal on Sunday whilst on loan for Caykur Rizespor.
The midfielder joined Forest from Newcastle in January on a permanent deal. But the 31-year-old failed to make an impact at the City Ground, making just eight appearances in total.
Shelvey left the Reds in the summer to join Turkish side Rizespor on loan. He has already made as many appearances in Turkey as he did during the entirety of his time at Forest.
Andre Ayew completes free transfer after Nottingham Forest exit
Andre Ayew has found himself a new club following his release by Nottingham Forest at the end of last season.
Ayew joined Forest in February after leaving Qatari side Al Sadd. The Ghana international signed a short-term deal with the Reds for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.
The former West Ham United and Swansea City forward made 13 appearances for Steve Cooper’s side as they managed to retain their Premier League status. However, only one of those was a start – in a 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle United.
