Declan Rice has been nominated for the October PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month award. He is up against Bryan Mbeumo, Callum Wilson, Erling Haaland, James Maddison, and Mohamed Salah.
During the month of October, Declan made significant contributions to the team. He played a full 90 minutes in our 1-0 victory against Manchester City, where he made a crucial goal-line clearance from Joško Gvardiol’s powerful volley.
In the following match, Declan played a key role in our late comeback against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. He scored a fantastic long-range goal, striking the ball first time into the bottom left corner, inspiring the team to secure a 2-2 draw.
Continuing his impressive form, Declan played 89 minutes in our dominant 5-0 win against Sheffield United. He provided an assist for Eddie Nketiah’s opening goal with a well-placed low cross into the penalty area.
Since joining the club in the summer, Declan has made an outstanding impression and was awarded our Player of the Month in August.
